10 RAREST ANIMALS!!

Animals are loved by nearly everyone within the world, yet humans are a dangerous threat to their survival. Every single one among the animals on this list isn't only rare, but also critically endangered or “just” endangered. The low population of those rare animals is primarily because of habitat loss, hunting, or accidental death caused by human activities. While conservationists have successfully bred a number of these animals, others aren't so lucky and are on the brink of complete extinction. Hopefully, with more awareness, including the data on this list, we might see a number of these rare animals recover within the future. Let's start the countdown!!  Black-footed Ferret   Estimated Number of Mature Individuals:  300 to 400 in the wild; many bred in captivity and released to the wild each year   Location:   Arizona, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Montana, USA; previously native to the Great Plains of North America   Current Conservation Status:  Endangered  Scientific

THE SPARROW!

Also called the house sparrow, domestic sparrow, etc. But 1 would personally term it as the nostalgic bird. It takes me back to when I was a kid. We (In India) would see these little fliers feed, nest, and play around everywhere.  Sparrows were a common sight in the courtyard of almost every house in India, but now it is hardly visible. The number of sparrows decreases day by day, or id rather say they are not to be found anywhere now! The sparrow's scientific name is Passer domesticus,  weighing about 25-40 grams, standing 16 cm tall! And has a wingspan of about 21cm.  https://www.instagram.com/p/CNIGmFBjaJ0/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link It is a small brown-colored bird, which isn't more significant than a tennis ball, having black-colored streaks on its back. The male sparrow is easily distinguishable from the female; this difference is not in size but its coloration. The male sparrow is dark brown, hosting a black bib, with a grey chest, and of course, the white cheeks, on th

Sloths — the adorable and lethargic animals.

https://www.worldwildlife.org/stories/why-are-sloths-slow-and-six-other-sloth-facts CLASSIFICATION  Kingdom:- Animalia Phylum:- Chordata Class:- Mammalia Order:- Pilosa Species:- B. variegatus Genus:- Bradypus INTRODUCTION  Slots live on  treetops, depend on the health and survival of Central and South American tropical forests. They spend much of their lives in the canopy, snoozing and remaining hidden from predators. There are six extant sloth species in two genera –  Bradypus  (three-toed sloths) and  Choloepus  (two–toed sloths). Despite this traditional naming, all sloths actually have three toes on each rear limb, although two-toed sloths have only two digits on each forelimb. The animals live solitary lives and travel from tree to tree using canopy vines. Located in places such as Brazil and Panama, the six species of this strange and wonderful animal need healthy forests to survive. But tropical forests are some of the most vulnerable to deforestation. Loss of trees means anima
